How to fit it
- Loosen every strap first.
- Lay the padded panel across your dog's lower back, just in front of the tail.
- Pass the front strap under the belly, behind the front legs; pass the rear strap under the belly, in front of the back legs.
- Clip both quick-release buckles. Tighten until snug, two flat fingers should slide under any strap.
- Stand beside your dog, take the handle and lift just enough to share the load. Reward and take a few steps together.
First few times: keep it to a minute, on flat ground, with treats. Build up once they trust it.

How much weight can it take?
Up to roughly 40 kg of dog, for assisted movement, sharing the load, not carrying it. A short lift into a car boot is fine; carrying a large dog any distance isn't what it's for.
Can I leave it on all day?
A few hours at a time is fine so you're not re-fitting it constantly. Off overnight and check the skin underneath.
Will it help a dog with weak front legs too?
No, this one supports the rear only. Front-end or whole-body weakness needs a different harness.
My dog just had cruciate or hip surgery. Can I use this?
